Sidecar expedition in South Western China

We have been told that the city is cleaning its streets of illegal scooters and motorbikes. Here’s a shot of what awaits your ride if you are not 100% legit.
Sidecar riders have reported being fined for not having rear view mirrors or the correct screws on their Shanghai plates. Please make sure you papers and insurance is up to date too.

Apparently an old Norton, the guy has no idea where it is now. Very sweet ride from the look of it though!

Here are a few photos of a ten days ride done with 6 CJ’s and a Beijing Jeep in February, great weather, great people and amazing landscapes!

Doug Barber AKA Good Shot Q-Ball brings us this great book, offering us 30 years of photos with the old school and hardcore riders in the States.

Just the fact of having a sidecar on the cover made us order a copy of course.
